The History of the Cork by Charles A. Webster

Hardcover (no dust jacket) - 1920 - 420 pages and 18 illustrations - Fair condition. Cover intact, but there is a tear in the spine, which is faded and the gilt lettering is also faded. Binding is still good, though there is crack in some valleys. While some early pages are loose, all pages are present and are untrimmed by design. The pages are clean, free of marks or underlining.

Webster's history of the Diocese of Cork from its establishment by St Fin Barre (Finbarr) around the year 600 to the disestablishment of the Church of Ireland, and its immediate aftermath, in 1869. Includes lists of bishops, numerous appendices, a bibliography and 18 illustrations.
